Reporting Services Install Problem

I'm trying to install Reporting Services but it threw up
these errors:
Failure activating the web Service:
The service has not generated a public key
Activating Report Service
Error code: 1603
The Report Designer seems to work just fine, but when I
try to access the Report Manager, I get an internal error.
Can anyone point me to where I can find a solution for
this?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!Do you have Share Point Portal Server or Sharepoint Team Services installed
?
If you are on SQL2000 RS B2 you should post the question on the beta
newsgroup, if not and you have a build from PDC/PASS then you can get a
response at http://www.sqljunkies.com/Forums/ShowForum.aspx?ForumID=61

www.betaplace.com you can login and find the details for the newsgroups, if
you have access issues then there is a Contact Us link on that site.

No, I don't have SharePoint installed on the server.
Where is the beta newsgroup?
Thanks!
