Hi,
Now Vista is out on MSDN, I have installed SQL Server 2005 on VISTA. I can install all well, but not Reporting Services, because it doesn't recognize IIS7 as a running IIS. So I installed all but not reporting services. Than I tried to install SQL Server 2005 SP2 (CTP) which is also out since 2 weeks, and adds VISTA support to SQL Server, but I didn't know how to additionally install Reporting services to my installation. What have I to do? The normal way of adding reporting services via Programs in control panel doesn't work, because the initial used setup doesn't recognize IIS7.
Thanks
Hans
I got it. I was wrong thinking SQL Server 2005 Installation didn't recognize IIS7. There's a lot of Components not installed by default, so I have to install it manually via Control Panel - Programs - Turn Windows functions On/Of. Here are good articles:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/920201/en-us
http://www.microsoft.com/sql/howtobuy/windowsvistasupport.mspx
Now it works after applying SP2 (CTP).
