If I understand you correctly, once you have some reports deployed to
the Report Manager, you should be able to select a report and select
the 'Properties' tab where you will be able to modify the snapshot
history settings. Hope this helps.

Reporting Services output other than PDF?

Can someone point me to a list \ description of the output formats available
with SQL Reporing Services? A structured text format in ACSII, PCL, or
something like that would be preferred. Thanks! If you look in the Reporting Services Books Online, you find this article
Exporting Reports
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms157153.aspx
It lists the standard formats and other information about exporting reports.

Reporting Services output formats?

Can someone point me to a list \ description of the output formats available
with Reporting Services? I'm trying to help a customer that wants something
other than PDF output from their MS SQL Reporting Services - they'd prefer a
structured text format or something like that. Thanks!Hi,
Just open in the report manager folder and the config file you can see a
list of output formats, like CSV, Excel, PDF,archive etc...

Reporting Services On Web Server not on SQL Server

I have my web server and sql server seperated. Is it possible to have the virtual directories that get created point to the web server and not on the sql server? Also, if I have domain abc.com, def.com, ghi.com can they all go to the reporting services with their domains?

Thanks in advance!

anybody?

Yes you can run reporting services on the webserver separated from the database server. Think of the Reporting Services as an ASP.NET application.

Reporting Services not showing in central admin

I downloaded and installed SQL Server 2005 SP2 update on my reporting services server. I think downloaded and installed the share point reporting services admin to my share point dev server. I open up the central administration and there is no reporting services menu option under the Application menu. The sharepoint server is a farm with backend database on one server and all the web apps on the other (where the add-in was installed). The reporting server is a separate server running its own instance of SQL 2005.

Am I missing something with this setup?

Make sure the feature is activated by checking whether "Report Server Integration Feature" is activated by going to Site Actions->Site Settings-> Site Collection features.

Note: You may need to be site owner of the Central Admin web site in order to view the "Site Collection features" link.
