REporting services error

Hi to everybody,

I have installed on a windows server 2003 machine with all the last update until 12/10/06

sql server 2k analysis services with all the last update

the problem is that when I tray to export the report

I recieve this error

Reporting Services Error

--
Exception of type

Microsoft.ReportingServices.ReportRendering.ReportRenderingException

was thrown. (rrRenderingError) Get Online Help

Exception of type Microsoft.ReportingServices.ReportRendering.ReportRenderingException was thrown.

Cannot find font '?'.

Any suggestion is apprecieted
ty

You may want to try using www.sysinternals.com filemon tool to determine which font is missing, then replace it with a font from another machine.

Is it any export format or just PDF?

|||Thank you Andrew,

I have reinstalled the fonts and it works well..

but now I have another kind of problem

8128 :
Using 'xpsqlbot.dll' version '2000.80.2039' to execute extended stored procedure 'xp_qv'.

this is the trace of the event viewer. that come's up some times..|||From a blog I found:

Found this reference from: Gert E.R. Drapers

on http://www.derkeiler.com

xp_qv, hosted in xpsqlbot.dll is a wrapper around functionality in

sqlboot.dll, which returns information about the SKU type, licensing etc

It is not documented that is why you can not find a reference. I should be getting called very

infrequently and as far as I know it only visits the Registry.|||Hi Andrew ,

thank you for your replay

but I have also this error.

Reporting Services Error

An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted) Get Online Help

Query execution failed for data set 'PDBrandModel'.

(rsErrorExecutingCommand) Get Online Help

Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the

operation or the server is not responding.|||

The above error doesn't look related.

The timeout error could be due to a long-running query. Check timeout settings for IIS & Reporting Services, and see if it is possible to optimize query in Query Analyzer. Turning on trace in the .config file of Reporting Services and using SQL Profiler could also track down the issue.

cheers,

Andrew

|||Hi to all,

I have tryied all the things suggest by you..

I have to understand the way to change the timeout on reporting services

and I don't know how to do that

Go to data set and click on ellipse and leave timeout field empty.
