Reporting Services Installation problem on XP

At the very end of Installation process I am getting an error message:
Can't initialize Reporting Services service. Initialize it manually.
I am not sure what I need to do at this point. Can someone help, please?
ThanksForgot to say that is RS 2000 Eval.
